There are two types of knowledge, general and specialized. Knowledge is nothing without a plan and desire to use that knowledge. Here’s what another of my friends and mentors learned about specialized knowledge

 Chapter 5 – Specialized Knowledge

“Knowledge is potential” – it will not attract money
or other desires unless I possess the ability to
organize and use the knowledge.  As long as I know
where to access the knowledge, then organize it
into a definite plan of action I am educated.

Mr. Ford created his own Master Mind Group to
supply the knowledge he needed to access.
He created the ideas and others supplied the
specialized knowledge and experience that was
organized into a definite plan of actions that
produced the first 8 cylinder engine.

There are no time or age limits on attaining
knowledge, learning new skills, creating a
Master Mind Group or putting a plan into action.
As long as I have a burning desire I can find
these other ingredients to achieve what ever
my success looks like to me.  If I have self
discipline, commitment, consistent action
and stay open to learning I can achieve
anything.

MLM Success – How To Visualize

You’ve seen this line before:

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, man can achieve.”

This proposition has been proven time and time and time again throughout history.

How could David possibly beat Goliath? No way! I guarantee you, he saw it in his mind first, then did it.

How could one guy – Michael Dell – sell more computers than Big Blue, IBM, the greatest US company of the 20th Century? Do you think he had a picture? Do you think he had a vision to follow as he built Dell Computer?

How could that bunch of college amateurs on the U.S. hockey team at the 1980 Winter Olympics ever beat the Soviet team of professionals who had been playing together 10 or 15 years … a team considered better than any of the pro teams in the U.S. or Canada? How could that possibly happen? Do you think someone had a picture? Do you think it all began with a visualization somewhere?

I guarantee you it did.

As you listen in on our daily Mentoring For Free phone calls, you’ll hear stories of many people who are finally achieving what they wanted in life. Every one of them has a picture.

How do you think Ebay got started? Somebody wondered, “Hey – what about an online flea market?”

So create the picture of what you want in extraordinary detail. Write it all down, every little bit of it. Then taste it, smell it, hear it, touch it, see it. Once you have all the details filling in all your senses, you won’t need but 3 or 4 minutes a day to put yourself in that full-sensory replica of exactly what you will achieve. The more you experience it, the closer you will get to achievement.

After reading this chapter several times there was one sentence that hit me like a bomb. “The other principles are simply tools with which to apply auto-suggestion.”

That’s why I haven’t been having the success I thought I should. I was doing my self talk over and over again, but I wasn’t using the other tools when I was doing it. I wasn’t applying the faith and desire, I was just going through the motions. Just saying the words and hoping somehow they would take hold and work in some way.

Like the book says the only thoughts that the subconscious mind works on are ones that are transmitted with emotion. I now have the desire and faith that I will be successful and my self talk now has meaning which it didn’t have before.

The mental cleanse for this week is on auto-suggestion. It’s how to program your subconscious mind to put the correct thoughts into it to get what you want from life. Below is what Erica Fath got from the chapter.

Repeating words over and over – that’s what I heard as
the instruction in chapter 2. I thought it was childish,
but then I remembered that children learn the fastest.

How often did I read my kids the book… “See Dick run”
or “the little engine that could” – over and over and
it wasn’t long before my toddlers were “reading” the
story to me. Yup, repetition works.

So I started repeating the words of my self talk over
and over. Then along comes chapter 4. And it’s not
just about repeating the words redundantly.It’s about emotionalizing the words.

Picture yourself cashing that cheque. Then feel the
joy the thrill of writing a cheque for that car of
your dreams. Smell the leather as you slide behind
the wheel. Or feel the slinkiness of the satin blue
dress as you put it on to celebrate the achievement
of reaching your weight goal.

Feel the material; look in the mirror and see how
the style just hugs your body and makes you look so
beautiful; enjoy swirling around as you dance around
the room in the dress.

Feel the pride! Feel the fabric!

Now do this over and over. The subconscious mind will
grasp the feeling. And the reality of it is the next
step.

In this chapter it talks about faith and how I must put the kind of thoughts I want into my subconscious mind.I now see why doing the lesson plans and sending them in is so important. When I didn’t turn in lesson plans I would just read the chapter and then get on the calls.
Now when doing my lesson plan I have read the chapter at least 3 times and listened to it 2 times trying to find that something which will help me with my business. I realized this morning that what I was doing was putting more positive information into my subconscious mind by thinking about what to write over and over. It’s like using auto-suggestion to put what you want into your subconscious mind. Because all the time I spend thinking about faith and what it means is programming my mind and it’s also keeping my mind from thinking negative thoughts.
Seems like I’ve heard somewhere that faith is the absence of fear. It has been fear that has kept me from doing the lesson plans, fear of saying the wrong thing or not really getting the right ideas. So by facing my fear and doing the lessons and sending them in I am replacing my fear with faith. Faith in myself that I can have the life most people only dream of.

What is desire? When looking up the definition the
one part that really caught my attention was number
6 sexual appetite or a sexual urge. That is a desire
that most people can probably understand.

It is a very strong desire which drives people to do
things they might not otherwise do. If I can just take
that kind of desire and apply it to my business then I
will have no problem attaining what I truly desire to
get from my business.

I must do whatever it takes to move my business to the
next level.

The other strong desire that I can think of is the
desire to be wanted and loved. When taking care of
foster kids I found that the desire for attention
was so great that they would do anything to get it.

Most of them found that the only way to get this
attention was to misbehave and then they would get
punished but at least it was attention.

So they were willing to take the abuse if they got
some attention. I’ll never forget the day one little
girl about 4 or 5 asked us why we didn’t love her.

We told her that we did but she said we didn’t because
we didn’t hit her. She was willing to do whatever it
took to get attention, any kind of attention.

When I have that kind of desire in my business it will grow as
I help others with the same desire.
