What is network marketing?

I think when most people hear the word network marketing they begin to think that when you join a network marketing company you have to be some sort of super salesman to make it. That’s not what network marketing is all about.

You have been network marketing most of you life. It started when you were little by telling your parents what kind of cereral you wanted to eat and what kind of clothes you wanted to wear. You continued doing network marketing as you grew older by recommending different products and services to your friends and family.

Let’s say you found a good place to eat and you went to work the next day and told all your friends about how great this place was to eat. Some of your friends might try the place themselves and then recommend it to some of there friends.

At the end of the month does the place send you a check for recommending them to all your friends and their friends who came in there to eat? No they don’t.

That’s the difference between network marketing and the real world. By recommending the products and services of your network marketing company you get a certain percentage of what your company makes by having the people you recommended buy their products. It’s just that simple.
